1-Shot Deer Hunting Hunting: A 1.2 mile hike into public land on National Forest to hunt white tail deer on an early season bow hunt. Vince will take you on an all day hunt in the Appalachian Mountains. This video will help show proper stand location in relationship to feeding areas where apple trees are producing and the terrain. It also gives tips on stand placement next to buck bedding areas. Wind direction is explained on being downwind from bedding area. An early morning hunt starts out with a cool morning, but transitions to rainy then sunny and dry. This deer hunting video is based on hunting in front of a cold front, and hunting on the backside of one. Several deer are videoed in this episode while they are moving through the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC.
