Bury Me In Silence by Shroud Of Bereavement
Taken from the first album in over a decade "A Beautiful Winter" released world wide on July 25, 2022 through WillowSoul Productions
Some of the video footage was taken from an old abandoned military base called Fort Stark in Portsmouth New Hampshire USA
The live footage was taken from the one and only performance of the song at club Dusk in Providence R.I. before the live band broke up on the "Beers for Tears" tour in Oct 2013. The song was a trial run, and had not yet been finished, so some things may not sync up exactly because at the time, the lyrics weren't 100% and we also lost our drummer and 2nd guitarist weeks before doing the tour. The drummer Joe Beaulieu {Hell's Infinite Six, December Wolves} filled in last minute.

Bury me in silence
for you have no right to mourn
Scatter roses upon me
pretend to be forlorn
Rain the earth upon me
nail tight the coffin door
Rend my bones to ashes
forget whom you once adored.
You shall not mourn for me.
For me, My castle, immortal love
Release me, from these burdens of woe and shame
Bury me in silence
for you've always failed to see
the depths of your betrayal
and your iniquity.
Speak, bring rain to cleanse my soul
Sleep, bring pain to cleanse.....
I'll stay in your heart forever
the object of your scorn
Mourn not for me, for this love
was destined to be nevermore
....And though worms destroy this body
yet from this grave shall I seek your blood
This vengeance is my right to take
invoking the wrath of a righteous flood
Though my bones may turn to ashes
This spirit lives on unrequited
Wash away my tears with the falling rain, ohh console me
This silence is Deafening, you've abandoned me
Wash away my tears with the falling rain, inter our love
Burned to ashes, ceremonies, my requiem
...And though worms destroy this body
yet from this grave shall I seek your blood
This vengeance is my right to take
invoking the wrath of a righteous flood
Wash away my tears with the falling rain, ohh console me
This silence is Deafening, you've abandoned me
Wash away my tears with the falling rain, inter our love
Burned to ashes, ceremonies, my requiem
Sleep, Bring pain to Cleanse me,
