"Happy Together" is a song released in March 1967 on the eponymous album by American band The Turtles. Released in the spring of 1967, the song topped the Beatles song "Penny Lane", taking it from the top spot for three weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the first and only number one for a song by the band. "Happy Together" reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart in April 1967. The song was written by Gary Gordon Bonner and Alan, former members of a band known as The Magicians. The song "Happy Together" has also been featured on the soundtrack of several films, such as "Imagine Me&You", the film's title being the first "verse" of the song.
This song has already appeared in the episode "How We Weren't" of the 15th season of The Simpsons, and in the film of the series of the same name.
