You saw the RK25 REX had no problem lifting the pallet of paper. No problem lifting the v8 engine blocks. Something new came in to try! Something big!
A text came in from my neighbor down the street, Deon. He needed help moving a Dyno off a flatbed trailer and into his garage. What is a Dyno? I went out with the tractor to his new house and thought the RK25 couldn’t do this. It’s heavy - two, nearly 8’ iron rollers in a heavy steel frame. He tried with his RK24 and it couldn’t lift it but he thought maybe the 25 could since it’s a little bigger.
I went to the trailer and slid under at the small wheels. The 25 had enough lift about 1” off the bed if I tilted just the right way. I wish that had been recorded. one corner the wheel kept catching on the edge and needed a little assistance. Rex then drove the dyno in the garage and was able to set it down right on the boards setup by Deon. The website for the lite model shows 3200 lbs. This probably did not weight quite that much because the panels were not installed nor the electronics - yet, but it was not too far off from this. It was heavy and challenged REX to his limits!
Next we see what the RK25 can do with clearing the top soil for a pond! Bryce’s brother needs to get to the clay underneath and we see if the RK25 can dig the topsoil off the surface down to the clay.
