Aurora Police are investigating a Sergeant who is accused of 'unprofessional conduct' during a stop in June 2021.

Sergeant Ed Acuti is seen in body camera video yelling at a 17-year-old girl and using profane language. She was stopped for speeding and a man who was in the car with her ran from police. While he was running a loaded, stolen handgun fell out of his wasteband.

Aurora Police said another officer reported Acuti's behavior, which launched an internal affairs investigation. He's been on administrative leave since the incident was reported, accord to Aurora Police.
