Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Saturday storm Fiona was having "a terrible impact across Atlantic Canada and eastern Quebec", after it ripped into the country's east with hurricane-force winds, forcing evacuations, knocking down trees and power lines, and even capsizing houses near the ocean.
