Midnight or Morning, I've Got You

The Mayor has whipped up a segue that combines Greg Adams (formerly with the Tower of Power) with "Midnight Morning" into the Split Enz wanting you which on the surface doesn't seem to make sense as a mix but it works nevertheless. What this means is that we'll be back again at work tomorrow and we'll have at it with all kinds of genre bending segues...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
