Live from France Square in #Yerevan, #Armenia - June 10, 2022

Today, June 10, 2022, two protesters (sister & brother) were detained and brutalized by police for simply holding a sign that said "Bring home all Armenian prisoners" in front of the presidential palace on Baghramyan 26, where the CSTO foreign ministerial summit was being held.

Tatev Soghoyan tells us what made her show up in front of the presidential palace, her POW/MIA uncle, and her past work with the #Armenian government.

Tatev's protest was independent of the Armenia opposition protests, demanding the resignation of the Nikol Pashinyan government, that was also occurring near the presidential palace.
