Finally, the 1st episode of a planned trilogy on the life of Majorian, Julis Valerius Maiorianus, the too underappreciated emperor who almost had managed to save the Western Roman Empire. This video is dedicated to his memory, as is the entire channel. In this video, we shall analyze how Majorian rose to power and became emperor of Western Rome in AD 457.
