An all around good pokemon, charizard vstar meets the standards for a good vstar in terms of its stats and attacks. Its vstar power is the best thing about and setting it apart from other attackers as it can OHKO opposing vstars among even bigger pokemon. Thanks to the ever handy welder supporter and other great fire type cards we can also power its attacks reliably. Dealing with volcarona v in expanded can be rough with charizard vstar; seeing as volcarona v has the ability to get a big OHKO with ease turn after turn, it means we won't be able to keep up if we fail to use welder turn after turn too. Without any prior damage on charizard vstar also can't OHKO volcarona v big unless it uses its vstar power which we can only use once.
