Edens Zero Volume 16: Prelude to the Aoi War - Manga Review

Welcome to my review of Edens Zero Volume 16: Prelude to the Aoi War by Hiro Mashima. This volume is as the title suggests, the prelude to the war arc of the manga. After a training session with Xenolith, Shiki and the gang decide to look for an associate of Laguna's named Ibaraki on the planet Sandra. This leads them to the resistance group, Oasis and their leader Goodwin who decides to help Shiki infiltrate Shura's planet and put a stop to his evil plan. Elsewhere, Ziggy schemes with the Dark Stars as to how they will claim the All-Link System from Shura. The volume ends with Eraser of the Oracion Seis Interstellar engaging Shura in battle while Goodwin and Ibaraki distract the enemy ships long enough, so that the Edens Zero can make its way to the planet Nero 66. Volume 17 is now set to release in July because they keep moving the release dates around for whatever reason. :\ Anyway, I can't recommend this series enough, but you already know that!
