After Raking In $200k Last Year, Dem Candidate Pretends To Be Poor

The ad for a Michigan Dem Hillary Scholten shows her with her family, with her AC turned off and her son in duct-taped sandals.

"Times are tough," Scholten says in the ad. "And like most Michigan families, we're making do with less and making things last longer."

In case of Scholten, “making do with less” means reaping $200,000 last year for her work as an immigration attorney, while her husband was on a payroll of two nonprofits for “consultations”.

Those duct-taped sandals were probably from Prada, too.
