USS Shoup Launches SM-2 Missile

September 18, 2022 - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) launches an SM-2 Block IIIA missile in the Pacific Ocean as part of a Live Fire With a Purpose exercise. A data analytics team from Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, embarked on Shoup to provide data recording and analysis of the launch.
