The Chicago Bears Injury Report for Friday is out and two key players are listed as questionable for Bears vs. Texans in NFL Week 3: CB Jaylon Johnson and LB Roquan Smith. Johnson and Smith are two critical components to the Bears defense and if they can’t play, Chicago will have a tougher time in stopping the Texans’ offense. LB Matt Adams, TE Ryan Griffin and DB Dane Cruikshank have already been ruled OUT vs. Houston. WR Velus Jones Jr. is doubtful as he continues to rehab a hamstring injury. Jaylon Johnson and Roquan Smith did not practice on Friday and are officially questionable for Sunday against the Texans. With LB Matt Adams not playing and Roquan’s status up in the air, look for UDFA rookie LB Jack Sanborn to play some snaps this week. Rookie CB Kyler Gordon will need to step up regardless if Johnson plays or not. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus says that Johnson and Adams both got injured at practice this week.
