New Lawsuit Could Bar Trump from Running ANY Business in New York (September 21, 2022)

Did you hear what Attorney General Letitia James is asking for in her lawsuit against President Trump?

She is seeking relief in the form of 10 items. One such item would permanently bar President Trump and his 3 kids “from serving as an officer or director”in any corporation or similar business entity” in the state of New York.”

Another would bar President Trump and Trump Organization “from entering into any New York State commercial real estate acquisition” for 5 years.”

And yet another would bar President Trump “and the Trump Organization from applying for loans from any financial institution chartered by or registered” in the state for five years.”

Essentially this would freeze Trump’s business until 2027 while also banning Trump and his children from ever running another business in the state.

This is in addition to Trump having to give up any profits he earned from alleged fraudulent activities - which the complaint estimates is nearly $250 million - plus interest.
