Here Come’s Fall

Cat notices the days are getting shorter because Fall is coming. Dog and Cat learn about equinoxes, and the length of days and nights. With days getting colder, trees lose leaves, except evergreens. And plants bare their fruits just in time to help us prepare for the winter. What do animals do to prepare for winter? They fill up on harvests for hibernation, and move for migration. What do humans do to prepare for winter? We preserve foods from our garden, butcher animals on our farms, and hunt for meat we can save over the cold winter days.
