French Troops Arriving in Romania, February 28, 2022

The arrival in Romania of French troops from the NATO Response Force (NRF)

Following the escalation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, NATO decided to strengthen the Eastern flank. Apart from sending more fighter jets to Romania and Poland, NATO also sent troops from the NRF - NATO Response Force to Romania.
This is the arrival of the 500 French militaries at the Mihail Kogalniceanu Military Airbase in Southern Romania. They join the other 1,900 US soldiers already stationed in the country.
The funny thing is that the Antonov plane shown in this video carrying the French troops and equipment belongs to the Ukrainian Air Force.
