Death Valley Adventure Ride Part: III (Eureka dunes, Inyo mountains to Big Pine)

In this part of the ride, we take off from the Eureka Dunes and through the Inyo mountains and arrive at Big Pine California. Mr. Mike's (aka Toad Moto) bike problems finally come to a conclusion as it blew a head gasket. Luckely it finally died in Big Pine instead of out in the middle of nowhere. If you watched the 1st video, Mike was having some radiator issues at the end of the 1st day and you could smell it as it was overheating. On the second day the bike was starting a lot harder and finally wouldn't start any longer at Big Pine. It turns out the fse450r was being used as a snow bike and the guy didn't seal the water pump housing correctly when he modified the bike. It's a testament to GPX that the engine went for over a hundred miles low and without radiator fluid in the desert at high speeds and technical riding all day! What a solid engine to survive that abuse! We ended up getting a hotel that night as we couldn't get to the campground. None of us complained lol. Poor Gary had to ride all the way bake to Beaty and grab the truck and trailer to get the spare fse300r. He said it was an amazing ride though!
