Shenmue Episode 12: Guidepost - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of Shenmue Episode 12! This was another great episode which saw a lot of important plot points reach their end, particularly with Wong and Joy thinking beyond their own self interests and going to help Ryo and Ren. For as much as I enjoyed this episode, I thought that the fight between Ryo and that masked guy (sorry I'm not good with names!) went by way too fast. Apparently, he was one of the most difficult bosses in the video games too. I stand by what I said in the last video in that I think this series would have been even better if it was 24 episodes so it could expand more on all of the minor characters and plot points. Either way, I am looking forward to watching the final episode, which airs later tonight. Stay tuned next week for my review of the final episode, episode 13.
