📚Bible Study Notes on Judges 11: 29 - 40

Central Thought: Our victory is Christ is not transactional. When Jephthah made a vow to God, he wanted to secure his victory over the Ammonites. However, the victory was already sure since it was God who gave him His Spirit to take the offensive towards the enemies of God. His vow was unnecessary had a tragic consequence. It is dangerous to try to manipulate God to giving us a victory that has already been won.
