This weeks video, I made a nice big ingot out of aluminum.
And a smaller one 😉.

It wasn’t a good day to melt, it was rainy, miserable weather😔.
But I still got the melt I wanted to do.
I didn’t lose to much during the melt, some was still in the crucible.
And some evaporated during the melt.
But that’s ok, got some ingots to add to the stack😉.

The stack is getting along slowly, but!!! don’t be disappointed!
I’m planning a big melt! (So I’m hoping the weather doesn’t ruin it!! I want to reach 300KG this year!!!).
If I do this melt, I’ll need to rearrange the stack, so all the weight isn’t in one spot😏 (hint, hint!).

I tried making a mirror finish, but it doesn’t quite look like one.
I think I need new pieces to polish.
I started sanding it with 80p,200p,600p,1000p,2000p and lastly 3000p. Next time, I’ll just wire brush it, it looked way better that way!!
