Zelensky demands removal of Russia's veto power

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the un general assembly on Wednesday, demanding that Russia be punished for invading Ukraine. Zelensky asked the UNGA to remove Russia's veto power until the invasion ends.

Zelensky: "So long as the aggressor is party to decision making in the international organization you must be insulated from them, at least until aggression lasts. Reject the right to vote, deprive delegation rights. Remove the right of veto if it is a member of the UN Security Council in order to punish the aggressor within that institution.”
