Healthy teen passes away suddenly, unexpectedly after coughing up blood, seizures

AUG 11, 2022. Djemayley Vernet (16) had no previous health issues according to his family. On Wednesday Aug. 3, 2022, he suddenly started having seizures and coughing up blood. He was taken to the hospital where he was put in a medically induced coma. He died 3 days later.

His family and doctors are still trying to understand what happened.
