WATCH: Cape Town School Makes Top 3 In The World

Pinelands North Primary School children and teachers were over the moon when the announcement was made that they have been nominated as one of the Top 3 finalists in the World’s Best School Prize for Overcoming Adversity.
The global announcement was made Thursday morning by T4 Education, in collaboration with Templeton World Charity Foundation, Accenture and American Express.
In June of this year, Pinelands North Primary School and West End Primary School celebrated as they made it into the Top 10 in the same category.
Premier Alan Winde congratulated the school on their nomination, saying: "Pinelands North is blazing a trail in delivering quality, inclusivity and that feeling of hope we all aspire to, and I am very proud that we can call them a part of ‘Team Western Cape’.”
