Karin Mack and Udo Klawitter are what you may call 'digital nomads'. The term refers to a person or persons who work remotely with the help of technology (Wi-Fi or the internet) and travel to new places. Karin and Udo also have a 'lifestyle business'. A lifestyle business is a passion-centered company that generates enough profit to allow an entrepreneur to work and live from anywhere, earning an income on their own terms. These types of workers and businesses have become popular due to the advancement in technology and communications.

Another popular topic these days is the Great Resignation. When the pandemic hit us, people began working remotely and suddenly had time to assess their lives and think about going back to the office. If the freedom to work everywhere was beneficial especially to ones mental health and wellbeing, would the lifestyle of digital nomad be interesting to these people?

It's a proposition that Peter Diaz (CEO, the WMHI) wanted to explore, so he and Emi Golding (Director of Psychology, the WMHI) went on a trip to Tarifa in Spain to meet Karin and Udo who are also good friends. They talk about what this lifestyle is like, how to go about it and what made them decide to go on their camper van and build a lifestyle business, traveling everywhere.
