Sakamoto Days Volume 1 - Manga Review

Welcome to my review of Sakamoto Days Volume 1 by Yuto Suzuki. This is something a little different on my channel, so I hope you enjoy it. The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a retired hitman who now has a peaceful life running a convenience store with his wife Aoi and daughter Hana. Shin, a clairvoyant is sent to either bring Sakamoto back to the underworld or kill him. However, seeing the peaceful life Sakamoto now leads, Shin cannot bring himself to do it and instead starts working at the store with Sakamoto. Later on, a woman named Lu Xiaotang is introduced and she ends up working for Sakamoto as well. All sorts of hijinks ensue with assassins and hitman appearing out of the woodwork to claim the one billion yen bounty on Sakamoto's head. This is a very funny series with some cool action scenes sprinkled in, so I will definitely be picking up the next volume. Sorry for not going into as much detail as I do in my Fairy Tail reviews, but I know that Viz goes after these types of videos because of "spoilers."
