Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone - Anime Movie Review

Welcome to my review of the 1989 anime film, Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone. I watched the 1997 Ocean Group dvd from the Rock the Dragon collection, and man, what a trip down memory lane. This movie is essentially a prequel to the original Dragon Ball Z anime series because it establishes that Goku and Piccolo are not on friendly terms. I loved how minor characters in the grand scheme of things now like Chi Chi, the Ox King, and Kami were pretty important to the story, and the battles relied more on skills over the crazy power-ups and asspulls that we see in Super now. Let me know if you would like me to review the other Dragon Ball Z movies because I have all of the blu-rays and the dvds of the first three movies. Also, check out the playlist in the description if you would like to watch my Dragon Ball Z reviews from last year. Thanks for watching, let me know your thoughts in the comments down below, and have a great day!
