Edens Zero Volume 17: A World of Ash - Manga Review

Welcome to my review of Edens Zero Volume 17: A World of Ash by Hiro Mashima. This was another excellent volume which sees Shiki and the gang make their way to the planet Nero 66 to face off against Shura and the Oceans 6. Shiki battles Shura, but is quickly overwhelmed against his superior Gravity Ether Gear. Afterward, Shura easily defeats Sister and Hermit and then kidnaps Witch, so that he can lure Shiki into his trap. Elsewhere, Homura achieves Overdrive in her battle against Miranni, defeating the Oceans 6 member. The volume ends with Weisz preparing to battle Nasseh in his Arsenal mech suit with Nasseh wielding a mech suit of his own. Lyra also has Rebecca under her control with Nasseh's Hypnosis Ether Gear, so the two of them will presumably battle in the next volume. The next volume is supposedly going to release at the of August, so stay tuned for another review coming soon.
