Woman King: Based On False "True Events" (Ep.478)

Hollywood and the left have praised the new movie, The Woman King, which states that it was based on "true events."  For example,  The Daily Beast commended the movie's “thick layers of history” and ABC News Reviews described it as “indelible and truly inspiring.”

However, The Woman King inaccurately represents the Dahomey tribe, especially its heavy involvement in the slave trade.  Viola Davis, the main character, responded to those criticizing the historical inaccuracies by stating, “Don’t come see it, then, you’re sending a message that Black woman can’t lead a box office globally, and that you are supporting that narrative."  Therefore, if you don't agree with a historically inaccurate movie, then you're a racist!
