Our first study in Daniel 3, we "set the stage" for the big showdown between Nebuchadnezzar and God's men, often referred to as "the Three Hebrew Children" in Sunday School Material and sermons. Nebuchadnezzar is full of pride and even though he has come to understand the reality of the God of Daniel, he still has not understood the futility of his own "gods" and the need to lay all other gods aside.
