Sherri Papini, "Gone Girl" Copycat, Sentenced to 18-Months, For Crimes That Called for 20 Years!

Sherri Papini concocted an elaborate kidnapping plot where she was held captive, beaten and tormented for 22 days in 2016, only to admit to making it all up, some 6 years later. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were paid out to get to the bottom of the two latina women that Papini alleged were her kidnappers.

Now, she has been sentenced to 18-months in prison, with 36 months monitored release. The prosecution was only seeking 8 months, but the law says she was owed 20 years for her crimes.

Amazing. A woman, a pretty, young, white woman can cry, make up a story and bask in the fulfillment of her narcissistic fantasy and barely face any consequences. If you think for a moment that the law is on the man's side, here is example Number 4459087 for proof of the opposite.
