Southeast Wisconsin weather: True taste of fall arrives Wednesday night

We woke up to temps in the 70s and some humidity, but it didn't last long with the cold front moving in before noon. A gusty NW wind and some clouds have dropped the temps into the 60s in our northern counties while areas to the south of Milwaukee are holding on to the upper 70s...for now. Everyone is in the 50s and 60s this evening, and tonight is the coldest of the season so far. By morning it is sunny, windy and chilly with a low of 50 in Milwaukee to 43 inland. A NW wind at 15-25 mph will make it feel even colder. Thursday is sunny, windy and cool with highs near 60 in Milwaukee, while inland areas are stuck in the 50s.
