Why Picture Files Don't Work with Embroidery Machines

Embroidery digitizing expert @Erich Campbell recently joined me to talk about digitizing basics. In this excerpt, he explains why you can't import picture / photo files like JPEGs or PNGs directly into your embroidery machine. Regular image files are incompatible, and must be embroidery specific files.
