Bleach Blu-ray Set 6 (Episodes 140-167) - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of the sixth Bleach blu-ray set which contains episodes 140-167. Episodes 140-151 consist of the conclusion to the "Arrancar: The Hueco Mundo Sneak Entry" arc and episodes 152-167 consist of the "Arrancar: The Fierce Fight" arc. This blu-ray was my favorite one yet! From the awesome opening theme song, to the great battles and badass new villains, Bleach has everything you would want in a shonen anime series. After Orihime bids her farewell to Ichigo in a very emotional scene, Ichigo embarks on a quest to Hueco Mundo in order to rescue her from Aizen and the Espada. Joining him on his journey are Uryu and Chad, and then later, Rukia and Renji. We also meet Nel, Pesche, and Dondochakka who act as guides for our heroes as they attempt to infiltrate Las Noches. There were so many epic battles in this arc. You had Uryu and Renji vs. Szayelaporro, the eighth Espda, Rukia vs. Aaroniero, the ninth Espada, Chad vs. Gantenbainne, and of course, Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra, the fourth Espada and then later, Grimmjow, the sixth Espada. So much great stuff! Next time, I will discuss the seventh blu-ray set which is mostly filler, aside for the last disc which has all sorts of crazy reveals and returning characters.
