Bleach Blu-ray Set 7 (Episodes 168-195) - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of the seventh Bleach blu-ray set which contains episodes 168-195. Episodes 168-189 consist of the filler arc, "The New Captain Shusuke Amagai" arc and episodes 190-195 consist of the start of the "Arrancar vs. Soul Reaper" arc. This blu-ray was mostly filler aside from the last disc which had some of the best episodes in the series. The filler is not terrible, just out of place as it saw our heroes return to the World of the Living with unresolved battles in Hueco Mundo. I guess you can look at it as a side story, but I would recommend skipping this filler arc. The main villain, Shusuke Amagi was a nice addition that didn't necessarily need Icihigo to tell his story. Rurichiyo, Kenryu, and Enryu were all fun characters who also appear in a hilarious two part filler episode later on in the series. I spent the bulk of this video discussing the continuation of the Hueco Mundo arc which saw Nel take her true form in her battle against Nnoitra. And damn, Nel is the best Bleach girl for sure. We also saw the return of Kenpachi, Unohana, Mayuri, and Byakuya as they joined the battle to help Ichigo and his friends. You are not going to want to miss my next review which is filled with all sorts of great battles as well as the backstory of the Visoreds, Aizen, and Urahara and how their pasts are all connected.
