Bleach Blu-ray Set 9 (Episodes 224-251) - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of the ninth Bleach blu-ray set which contains episodes 224-251. Episodes 224-229 consist of the conclusion to the "Arrancar: Decisive Battle of Karakura Town" arc and episodes 230-251 consist of the start of the "Zanpakuto Unknown Tales" arc, which is filler. One of the main criticisms of Bleach is the fact that they literally stop major battles out of nowhere only to start 30 episode fillers arc, but that was because the anime was airing while the manga was still being published, so they had to stall the anime without outright stopping it in order to have enough chapters to adapt. I really enjoyed the canon episodes with the Espada revealing their ranks to the Captains, especially Halibel. xD The filler was actually pretty good, especially the three one off episodes before the main filler arc. I discussed some of the filler episodes from the tenth blu-ray, so that in my next review I can focus on the main story again. Next week, we will do a quick recap of the "Zanpakuto Unknown Tales" arc and then begin the "Arrancar: Downfall of the Espada" arc, which has some of the best fights in the entire series.
