Guatemalan farmers and civilians protest against corrupt government

Demonstrators gather to protest against government corruption and high cost of living in Guatemala. Supporters and members of the Farmer Development Committee took the streets of capital Guatemala City on Wednesday morning. Despite the rain, demonstrators gathered to peacefully protest against corruption and the high cost of living in the Central American country. They also demanded the resignation of public officials who, in their opinion, have promoted impunity in Guatemala and allowed the mass genocide of their peoples to occur for decades.
