Tucson Police Take Out Armed Suspect Outside Of Hookah Lounge

Officials released the bodycam and surveillance footage of a fatal police shooting involving Tucson Police and an armed suspect outside of a hookah lounge located along the 3700 block of South 16th Avenue during the early-morning hours of August 20th. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Adum Mahamat, reportedly brandished a firearm during a physical altercation involving other patrons inside of the establishment. Responding officers encountered Mahamat outside of the lounge, repeatedly ordering the suspect to drop the firearm. However, bodycam footage reveals Mahamat was noncompliant with said orders to drop the weapon, resulting in officers fatally shooting the suspect.Show more
