Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt along with the Mavericks tip over bottles that aren't working right in today's Segue City Special. They may be defective, we don't know. What we do know is that, at least, it makes a segue that ties together genre-wise and thematically so that clears our contractual obligations here and allows us to move on as we get ready one segue ready for tomorrow. Then we get to clear out for the coast to beaches that are out of the way and less well known and no, we won't tell you where they are....

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
