For decades, India's wildlife has been suffering under a regime that denies them their natural habitat – even as they are being killed for sport. The government says these animals can be kept alive with only supplements to keep out disease but thousands have starved to death while many others die every year from diseases brought in by private farmers who try "dusting off" wild plants or birds which do not live up back home.
