My own Private Jet! - Maiden Flights with the J65 Twin 70mm EDF

Usually I gravitate more towards military aircraft, but when I saw the XFly Model J65 Twin 70mm EDF come out, I was really drawn to it. Being based on the Gulfstream G650, it is such a nice looking design and Xfly has really characterized the shape and scale details really well....and she flies extremely sweet! We were at a new field with pretty rough runway and the winds were a little cross and bumpy, but the model handled it all well (the gyro works really well!). For the winds, I realized later on that partial flap was the ticket to give the airplane a little more speed. With the wings as they were, it got pretty floaty and would wing rock a bit, but I only managed a couple wing scrapes in the process, haha! I can finally say I own my own biz jet!...albeit in miniature. 😂 Full review coming soon! #g650 #scalemodel #maidenflight
