BFGC - Sep 18, 2022 Battling Myself

New Testament believers need to be reminded that their daily spiritual battles, are primarily against their own fallen, sinful nature. The world is filled with people who are always looking to blame others for their failures, but Yehovah tells us that we need to work out our own salvation and not try to blame our temptations on Satan, or on the shortcomings of others. Pride, fear, discouragement, worldly advice, and even religious traditions, can all get in the way of living a spiritual life pleasing to God, if believers choose to use them as an excuse to live carnally.
