The Queen—Inside Her Final Hours
LONDON (AP) — Hundreds of world leaders and the last mourners in an epically long queue have paid their respects. Britain is now preparing to put to rest its longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, with billions expected to watch from across the world to mark the end of an era.

The royal family escorted the queen's coffin to Westminster Abbey, where they joined 2,000 dignitaries for an hour-long ceremony of tributes and prayer that ended in a two-minute silence and the singing of the national anthem.
The queen's grandsons Princes William and Harry, as well as King Charles III and his brothers, then followed the somber procession following her casket into the heart of the British city, with massive crowds lining the streets.

Elizabeth has finally completed her final trip to Windsor, where a committal service was held in front of the royal family and other invited visitors. She will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Prince Philip.
