Flying Nickel Mining Corp (TSX-V: FLYN) CEO John Lee joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s plans to acquire the Gibellini vanadium project in Nevada, United States.

Under a non-binding agreement, Flying Nickel intends to acquire all outstanding shares of Nevada Vanadium Mining Corporation on a one-for-one basis to merge with the Gibellini owner.

Gibellini is being developed as an open pit mine that will produce 10.2 million pounds per annum of vanadium pentoxide with first shipments scheduled from 2026.

Flying Nickel believes the project will complement the company’s advanced Minago nickel project in Manitoba, Canada as both metals are classified as critical by the US Geological Service.
