Ukrainian artillery units which fired at the Zaporozhye NPP suppressed by return fire

Key element from the briefing of the Russian Ministry of Defense (20.09.2022):

The Kyiv regime continues provocations to create a threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

During the day, five artillery shelling of a thermal power substation located in close proximity to the nuclear power plant was recorded.

- A total of 24 artillery shells were fired from the Kyiv-controlled settlement Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region.

One of the technical buildings was damaged. Artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which fired at the territory of the nuclear power plant, were suppressed by return fire.
