The Abolition of Man (Classical v Modern conception of the world) - Part 2
This is a general presentation of the classical vs modern conception of the world, man and human nature where we focus on the implications of those varying world views and what those mean for humanity as described/suggested by one of C.S. Lewis’ most notable works. The case being made is for the necessity for the objectivity of value. I have used a number of references from the book as well as from other authors who have been influential on me in putting this together. Presenting this has been quite engaging and I hope it is found the same by the viewer.
