More than 1,000 Puerto Ricans rescued from Hurricane Fiona so far, and the storm is expected to head into the Atlantic

Hurricane Fiona pummeled Puerto Rico from Sunday and into Monday causing an island-wide blackout and inundating communities still recovering from Hurricane Maria in 2017. With more than a thousand people rescued from the damage so far, Fiona isn’t finished yet. After hitting the Dominican Republic, the storm is expected to take a turn into the Atlantic, where it will likely strengthen.
