Today, the National Commemorative Ceremony in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was held in Ottawa.
We remember her life and service.
Featured in this tribute is the Memorial Parade for Her Majesty the Queen and the beautiful performance of "Amazing Grace" by students at Appleby College. The Appleby College String Ensemble gave a very dignified performance.
Evan Pyne (violin solo), Emma Li (1st violin), Sterling Wu (2nd violin), Juna Oklany (viola), Antonia Cambre (cello) and Deren Ji (piano).
Christ Church Cathedral is the Anglican Cathedral in the nation’s capital. The original church was founded in 1832 with the current building dating to 1873. Christ Church was designated as the Cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa in 1897. In 1979, it also became the Cathedral of the Canadian Armed Forces Anglican Military Ordinariate.
