At the Hawaii Republican Party's 'Virtual' State Convention held on May 15, 2021 at an auto parts dealership on the outskirts of town, several races for top officer posts were contested . . . including the job of Secretary. Corrupt RINO insider and longtime establishment flunky Maryann "Mele" Songsong was challenged by Banner Fanene, whose speech made it clear he was sick of all the corruption in the Hawaii GOP embodied by the likes of Songsong.
