Chicago Bears Overreaction Monday After Loss vs. Packers

Chicago Bears overreactions come following the Bears 27-10 loss to the Packers on Sunday Night Football. Should Bears fans be concerned about QB Justin Fields? Fields went just 7-of-11 for 70 yards and an interception in the Bears loss. Fields did rush for a TD, but the lack of passing attempts and production is a major concern. Maybe some of that blame should fall on Bears Offensive Coordinator Luke Getsy. Bears Now host Harrison Graham has today’s Chicago Bears news & rumors on NFL Overreaction Monday after Week 2.

Luke Getsy is under fire this morning as the local and national media are questioning some of his playcalling decisions. After the Bears scored an opening drive TD against the Packers to take a 7-3 lead, Chicago failed to get a first down on the next 5 drives, including 4 straight 3-and-outs. RB David Montgomery only had 1 carry on those possessions and Justin Fields was unable to find a rhythm. Should Getsy be on the hot seat after last night’s performance? Getsy could help himself out by getting WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet more involved. The pair of 3rd-year players have combined for 2 receptions for 4 yards through two games. Kmet has zero catches on just 2 targets. The Bears offense must improve in NFL Week 3 against the Texans.
